Wheat Straw

Turning an agricultural byproduct into something you carry every day.

Wheat straw is the dry stalk left behind after wheat is harvested. Instead of relying entirely on conventional plastic, Maxfase EcoGuard® cases incorporate 40% renewable wheat straw with 60% TPU, creating a flexible and protective material designed for everyday use.

The wheat straw component gives the case its bio-based character, while the TPU provides the flexibility and durability needed for an iPhone case.

We use this material as part of a more considered approach to everyday products — combining nature-inspired design with a material that makes use of a renewable agricultural resource.
ECO-UV® Inks

Vivid colour and precise detail UV-cured in an instant.

Our designs are printed using Roland ECO-UV® EUV5 inks, a UV-curable printing technology developed for high-quality graphics on a wide range of materials, including plastics and 3D objects such as phone cases.

Unlike conventional inks that rely on drying or absorption, ECO-UV® ink droplets are cured almost immediately by UV light after reaching the surface. This rapidly fixes the ink in place, enabling sharp, detailed graphics and consistent colour reproduction.

ECO-UV® inks come with GREENGUARD Gold UL2818 certification, ensuring they are free from volatile organic compounds (VOCs) once cured.
